Yumnet was designed to handle multiple levels of security, based on the users's role and access level. Here you can see that the user does not have access to an area of the site and can go no further.
Yumnet also required the ability for sub-branding. Notice the subtle differences in color for the side menu, and the different logo style for the "signpost". However, the overall site identity and navigation is maintained.
We created the Communications Workflow Manager so that YRI is able to
efficiently track and distribute email communications. Anyone can send
email to the Manager of Communications and she can review, edit and
publish the emails with a few simple mouse clicks. The tool even keeps
the formatting and graphics of the original email.
By implementing Yumnet with our Click2Build technology, YRI is able to
provide content edit and update access to any knowledge worker in the
company.
We also created a File Browser tool which allows content contributors to easily add folders and files. Here you can see a set of folders with often downloaded reference material used by Yum and Franchise designers. Notice the sub-branding on this page as well.
This is the main page of Yumnet. YRI needed the main page to be a communications portal. This page works with the communictions workflow manager, allowing users to easily post new stories and create a compelling reason for employees to use the site and stay up to date.
